Ian Robertson Design was established in 2003 with a clear intention: to create custom homes that reflect the unique vision, lifestyle, and aspirations of each client. When Ian founded the firm, he could never have imagined that so many exceptional clients would one day call his designs home. What began as a sole proprietorship has grown into a collaborative architectural design firm, with a dedicated team in place since 2010.

Over the years, we have been honored to partner with clients on projects of lasting importance throughout Ontario, across Canada, and internationally. Each project is approached as a unique opportunity—one that demands thoughtful design, careful listening, and a deep understanding of how our clients live.

At the heart of our work is a highly personal design process. Ian’s passion for architecture begins with sketching and conceptual exploration, but it is shaped through close collaboration with clients.
